The Blues is extremely important in the history of American Music and it NEEDS to be kept alive for generations to come! 2 hours is far from enough airtime...as it is 3 hours a week isn't enough!!!

Blues music is the backbone of all rock and roll. Ridiculous cuts like this only let's the air out of an already shrinking arts balloon

Please return Carter Allan's show to its original time slot and time length. Blues is an important part of American culture. Blues fits the driving format of rock as well as the mellow laid back format of acoustic ballads. Carter includes many rock bands from the classic rock band who covered blues and or have a distinctly blues influence.

I never liked Carter Alan until he hosted this show.
First of all, the breadth of musical history that can be covered in three hours disappears quickly when time is cut and listenership is further reduced by driving things to the early morning on a Sunday.
Second of all, radio has to be all about community or it'll fade into the Spotify/Pandora woodwork. Diminishing this show only diminishes the station, and the media (radio) over which it depends for its survival.
Don't be short-sighted and count the number of very temporary pairs of ears that can be begged ahead of a truly great show.

You should never mess with a decades long tradition in Boston. Have you no respect for history. Did the flak over the Citgo sign teach you nothing. Are you a carpetbagger? We Revere our institutions in Boston(see what I did there) probably not.
