The Blues are the basis for SO much music, and there are fewer and fewer places to either hear or play the Blues. This show is Boston's MOST important Blues connection that should NEVER be relegated to near obscurity. My college radio station devoted the ENTIRE Sunday to various Blues styles and was the most popular show/day of the week! Surely WZLX can be the leader of Boston radio that we know it can, and at LEAST give Blues its 9-12 timeslot back! If you insist on starting at 8, then make it a 4 hour slot from 8-12. The Blues deserves to be heard!! Thank you.

Please give full consideration to the cultural implications of this unfortunate programming choice. Carter Allen's blues program is a touchstone institution that has inspired and influenced musicians and fans of this American art form for decades. Our young people need more exposure to their native music, not less.

Been listening since it's BCN inception... Looked forward to it every week & learned about new blues musicians who came up over the years opening my eyes to people like Bonamassa... Gary Clark Jr etc... cutting this show was a travesty... It has been a huge disappointment... & has left a huge void in the Boston Blues Scene...

Mainstay of Boston Radio, heard around the country over the net. There's a reason it's so widely listened to and still popular after all these years. In its reduced form it's 1 less hour per week I listen to your station.

Please, keep Carter Allen's Blues on Sunday to it's original Time slot and length, a true Boston Blues tradition, he features the BEST in Blues Local talent and Standards from the Blues Greats and is very Knowledgeable and informative...As well as inspiring to those up and Coming "Blues" talents and other "Student's" of the Blues, forever learning and Sharing what is Happening with the Local and National Scene....
Thank you

Have been a faithful listener to the show every Sunday morning for as long as it's been on your station. I don't understand the decision. Could you please put it back to 7 till 10 or even 11 or even 12. For the Boston Blues Lovers,
