According to the CDC vehicles are the #1 cause of death in children, though they outline ways to make them "safer" they will never truly be safe and the measures they promote do not lower the incidents of pedestrian vs motor vechile deaths. The only sure fire way to protect our children, adults, and wildlife from vechilular deaths and injury is to get rid of them altogether. People and animals alike did just fine before the invention of vehicles and we can once again thrive without them, there will be no more pedestrian deaths due to cars, no more DUIs, and no more accidental deaths caused by improper usage of car seats, seat belts, and vehicles themselves. Please join us in making our streets safer for everyone, find new ways to commute, get back to greener and clearer ways to travel. Not only will this save lives but the environment as well and as a bonus it will promote more physical activity and lead to healthier adults and children. The strain on our medical system will lessen, not only from the lack of victims from car accidents but also because we will be healthier as people because we will be able to meet daily physical activity levels more easily. We will save billions of dollars a year on extensive medical intervention and rehabilitation, people will also have more money in their pockets when they are not paying out astronomical bills for car payments, insurance, repairs, and gas, our air will be cleaner and our dependence on oil will lower. The benefits of banning cars far outweighs the benefits of having them, if nothing else matters please think of the lives of our children, far too many do not have the chance to grow up due to vehicles, let's end this senseless loss of life now and build a better and brighter future for our children and planet!

***Emergency vehicles driven by highly trained government of goals that follow strict licensing and regulations will be exempt.
