We request that the Golf Committee allow members to carry their own golf bag anytime after noon.
We all fully support the caddie program and will continue to use caddies, this is simply allowing members flexibility in how they enjoy their golf experience at Echo Lake.

I support this. My understanding is that Montclair, Canoe Brook and Baltistrol all have more open policies regarding carrying one's bag.
I agree and support the idea of being able to carry after 12:00 pm
I agree with extending flexibility with the understanding that pace of play is maintained
I fully support the idea of allowing earlier personal carry. I also fully support our caddies however when I joined the Club I wanted to enhance my golf experience. Allowing earlier self-carry times would make my golf experience more enjoyable. My guess since most caddies are out by 12pm anyway, this change would only have a minor effect on the caddy program.
its part of my exercise program; I enjoy carrying and walking at my own pace. And..... I'm an active user of the caddies as well,
There are a lot of of extended time periods before 3pm (including on weekends) when no one is going off the 1st tee. Letting people carry their bags in these situation facilitates better use of the course.
I totally support the idea of having the option to be able to carry ones own bag after 12 noon.

I fully support the caddie program at ELCC; it's one of the things that makes our club great! We should, however, allow members to carry in the afternoon with the understanding that they need to keep up with the pace of play. Personally, I enjoy the option to carry for both its health benefits as well as its intrinsic connection to the game. Thanks for your consideration.
