Carrie is so obviously the perfect Eponine and even if she weren't no one has the right to say that someone shouldn't do something they love because of any "imperfections". Don't change yourself because of ignorant bafoons!

Carrie is no where near being 'fat'! I've seen her perform in Les Miserables and she was amazing!
No one should have the right to tell someone else that they are overweight, ugly etc.
Carrie is an amazing woman and thanks to her I feel comfortable with who I am <3

To be honest, I fail to see how Carrie's size matters to anyone who has seen her act. Her acting is incredible, and her voice is incredible, and that's enough to make her portrayal believable! <3 Pinkies up. Keep calm and Carrie on. ;) xx

Just because Samantha barks has a tiny waist doesn't mean Carrie is too big!!? I love Carrie!!! So much! And if she's classed as too 'fat' then I've got no hope at size 16!!!

Sadly one hurtful comment can sometimes overpower even a hundred kind ones. Body shaming is especially the worst because in most cases people cannot just go change their bodies. (aside from plastic surgery, which if people do get they are shamed even more.) It is true that if you exercise and eat healthily, then your body is in its best condition. Though the only room for improvement here is in the mind of the person/people who made this comment. People who body shame must open their minds to acceptance and body-positivity. (If they somehow mean to be constructive they greatly need to work on their phrasing.) People make these comments sometimes because they also do not accept themselves. This is why it's important for everyone to know that their bodies are beautiful no matter what shape or size. We're all unique and can bring something incredible to the world.
