Carphone Warehouse Should Honour The Free Samsung Note 3 + Gear On EE @ £18.99 A Month, As Sold In Their "Flash Sale".
One of the items for sale was the Samsung Note 3 + Gear, free on a 24 month contract at £18.99 a month.
The Carphone Warehouse have honoured this deal to a select few, through no rhythm or reason. The rest of us have had our orders cancelled.
Not only this but some have been offered the phone, but with an upfront cost of £409.99. An offer which was available before and currently.
There so called 'flash sale' was a joke, and their conduct appalling.

I have been hearing from so many people who received the same frustrating cancellation emails after the sale. It is clear this was not an isolated error and your experiences are showing exactly how wide this issue goes. I am currently putting together a formal letter based on these stories and will share it here once it is ready to be sent.

This is major scam from this company and it's not the first time looking at people's experiences. I was given a different version each time I called them up as to why the deal was not going to be honored. The most ridiculous excuse was that I was plain unlucky and only a lucky few would have their orders put through! Bunch of jokers this Carphone Warehouse.
I am still awaiting a cancellation, which will be frustrating. During the "Flash Sale" this deal was advertised clearly, and quickly ordered. It soon became apparent that the deal was potentially a mistake, however this was not rectified at all, and the deal stood there on the CPW website for at least 2 days. A number of people have had their orders received, and now people are getting cancellation emails, so no one seems to know what is going on. It has now been 4 days since I ordered and heard nothing. I hope this gets resolved soon! Thanks, Neal
If you want to upgrade early and move to a different network to the one you're currently on, you're required to pay off the remainder of your current contract (what you agreed to pay each month, multiplied by how long you have left on it). Call0800 049 6248^ for more information Clearly stated on the cpw site. If it was a mistake then why honour some and not others? And as for system errors is that the customers problem? We place our orders when the flash sale deal was on, if it was a miss price how come some were honoured? Poor excuse and service from cpw.
Took this deal saturday via their web sites flash sale. Got a phone call today (tuesday) saying due to lack of information order cancelled but I could reorder it for £409 up front. Their so called flash sales looks like it was just a ploy to get peoples data
Mine was cancelled too. I was eligible for upgrade and was sent an email telling me that my order has been cancelled. Upon calling I was told that the deal is not available anymore when infact it was available online when I placed an order. I was given an excuse that even though I placed an order online and it was available at the time but the deal was off when they were doing the credit check. That's not my fault if they take 2 days to do credit checkl
cpw should honour this deal. they cancelled mine with explanation .

Order cancelled 3 days after I placed the order, apparently due to technical problems. Item is still in stock so appears to be more of a mistake that they made with their pricing. CPW should honour the deal they advertised as a 'flash' sale or at least have the decency to offer an alternative deal.
