We the undersigned ask The Green Party to demonstrate their commitment to cleaning up parliament in the wake of the recent expenses scandal by forcing the deselection of Caroline Lucas MEP and parliamentary candidate for Brighton Pavilion, as a result of her excessive expenses claims of over £300, 000 per annum. As an MEP, she is entitled to receive Allowances from the EU of well over a quarter of a million pounds a year and yet, in 2009, she published just three invoices totalling £3,059.71. This is neither efficient nor transparent. We expect that Green Party members will respond accordingly, and swiftly.
