Carol Landis gave so much of her time during her short and tragic life. It’s time to pay her this tribute.
Carole Landis tireless support of our troops and our country should be recognized.
She deserves the Medal of /freedom for her recognition as a servant to this nation during the war effort, be it posthumous or not.
There never was a greater supporter of the 'greatest generation' She logged more miles for the USO than any other entertainer!
About time she got some recognition. She was there for the guys when it mattered most, traveling all over and putting herself in danger for the troops. A true hero.

A wonderful woman who visited hostile regions to engage the troops overseas. Researching her for my book, "The Pinup Girls of WWII" was quite eye opening. There will never be another like her.
