Thanks to a big community effort and support, Carmen will be recognized for her hard work and leadership and leaving her mark on the City. We will celebrate what we learned from her and her memory will be kept alive by renaming a corner of East Harlem/El Barrio Carmen-Vega Rivera Way!!

Please rename the street in her honor for the over 40 years of work and dedication to children, education and her community.
