We don’t need any potential disasters for the convenience of a few spoiled ultra rich who don’t want to be bothered to land their jets at an underutilized Daytona Beach international airport just a few miles south of Ormond airport. Also the DAB is much better equipped and prepared for any potential disaster.

I live in Bear Creek. We certainly don't want any more noise. The train and Iron Horse are enough!

The airport is a losing financial operation why put more $$ into something that is financial sound and affects the homeowners surrounding the airport quality of life.

One of the reasons we live in Ormond Beach is for the relaxing atmosphere. We can tolerate two bike weeks, but if you've ever lived at Spruce Creek you will know how airplanes affect noise levels.

Our communities have no need for a large airport in Ormond Beach. Daytona Beach airport serves the needs of the community.

Most of us moved to Ormond Beach because it was a serene beautiful little town with ample shopping, excellent schools, and a peaceful atmosphere. That's how we hoped it would stay. There is a larger airport a few miles away that easily meets our needs. Instead the 'powers that be 'are turning our dream into a nightmare. The building continues, the roads are inadequate, and now they want to add more congestion on the streets and in the air. Is it ever going to end?

Enough is enough. There is no need to expand the runway except for those that want to use it for their private jets. These are the folks that do not live near, or under, the flight patterns.
