Lymphedema can surface throughout the body. Head & Neck cancer survivors should have the same access to therapy as lymphedema sufferers that result from breast cancer, prostrate cancer, etc.

I have seen head and neck pneumatic compression therapy work on many people, both professionally and personally. I have had patients tell me it is a game changer in their daily healthcare and well being.

I see so many patients that desperately need the pump and want it but do not have coverage to help pay for the device. The results for the patients is life changing!

Everyone should have access to the tools that can increase quality of life and care. After all the strain and effort cancer survivors have undergone to do just that, survive, they shouldn't have to worry about whether insurance will validate their efforts. Patients MUST have the medically necessary equipment they need to remain survivors!

I am a Lymphedema Therapist. The people that have lymphedema in the head or neck need devices that can be used at home every day to allow them better breathing and quality of life, not fighting for breath or hiding from the world.
