Dear Cardiff City FC, You have stated on numerous occasions you wish to capitalise on global markets and expand the Cardiff City brand for extra income. This we can accept as a legitimate reason for change. What we cannot accept is the embarrassment of a kit you have presented us with on the 29/05/2013. The shirt itself is not a problem. It's a stylish and modern design. However the shorts are a hideous shade of red and should be changed to match the red of the shirt. Why this wasn't the case in the first place only you will know. We, the fans, do not believe for one second that this kit will help us capitalise on global markets and in fact it will make us a laughing stock across the globe. As a Premier League club we deserve a Premier League kit. A kit that can spread the Cardiff City FC brand far and beyond. A kit that can help us increase our fan base in Asia and increase income. How can the club be taken seriously if the design and thought process is not being taken seriously? We urge you to reconsider the colour choice for the shorts this season if you wish to have a Cardiff City FC that will appeal to a larger audience. We appreciate everything Vincent Tan has done for us and we have shown faith in his vision. High attendances and the sales of red merchandise are proof of that. Its time to show a little faith in us, the fans. Only by working together can we make Cardiff City FC a true global brand to be proud of. We look forward to your response. Thank you!
