Just ran the gauntlet on The Grove and had 2 near misses! Parking should be stopped or The Grove made one way. It just isn't wide enough - cars are getting bigger!

Cars parking on both sides of Grove Road during the day make getting homw a game of chicken with any other vehicle coming from the opposite direction. I predict grid lock soon!

parking in Ilkley is made worse by cars on both sides of the road. Railway Road for example. Grove Road needs to be one way. More parking is certainly needed to encourage people to visit.

The town needs a co-ordinated one way traffic system combined with a competitivcley priced park'n'ride and a combination of increased parking charges/shorter waiting times and resident onlyt oparking areas
