This tract is zoned Residential and should stay Residential. Residential is the most appropriate use of of this space - and Residential has been County's plan for this space.
This land is inappropriate for retail / "strip mall" development - it will destroy the character of the Possum Park area. In addition, excessive traffic jams will result - Possum Park road was never designed to handle such traffic. In addition, there will be additional noise and "light pollution".
This area already has excellent access to retail shopping - with several million square feet of retail space of all varieties within 4 miles of this area - including local shopping, shopping centers, and major malls.

Please leave this area alone. It has always been residential and it should stay that way. Do not destroy our neighborhood.
Keep the character of our community intact. Stop the rezoning.
SO TIRED OF MORE SHOPS BEING BUILT. We have plenty of retail nearby. Keep the tract residential like it was planned!
Enough with the strip malls already. We dont need another one and the traffic on Possum Park is bad enough as it is.
That road is a death trap at rush hour and more stores will just make it worse. Terrible idea.
