Shocking, especially when they don't have the specific trousers to fit certain children. Also the companies won't take shop branded trousers to add logo

Have no problem signing this as schools focus too much on uniforms rather than teaching and getting bullying under control!

my kids have now left but why does it matter whether uniforms have a tiny logo on or not it is not like it will affect the child education is it. This puts a lot of pressure on parents because when my kids were in school i didn't find it easy to finance and i worked full time the school offer financial support to families who have low income or don't work but don't think about working families. I think it is a disgrace and they have forgotten about educating our nxt generation as wearing the rite uniform is more important. ask the question if the family work but don't have that much money to spend after increasing living cost then what their child loses the rite to a education. Why is it not for teachers to lead by example and be made to wear a very expensive dress code, no make up or high heels. hope you get 1000 signatures good luck

wonderful comment and perfectly pit thanks Juliet x there is in fact a competitions act which most schools are in fact breaking by making purchases compulsory. The way they get around it is by only giving permission to one supplier to use their logo so others risk copyright infringement - we are still a long way off but plz continue to support us by sharing this petition wherever u can - thanks again.

My son is not yet ready for secondary school as he's not even 2 yet! But if the prices of school uniform keep increasing like they have been I know I will not be able to afford he extortionate prices they will be in years to come.

I have grandchildren at schools that have extortionate priced uniforms. We are in Stockton. Here's hoping that this petition does something about this.

Ridiculous. Poor kids now are going to have less food on the table to pay for adidas branding

I am a low paid, single parent of four boys. Feeding and clothing them is hard enough, without schools dictating where I should buy school uniform. We need competition to keep prices as low as possible, to help the many struggling parents and carers, I do believe uniforms are essential, but I also want the choice to be able to get the best deals available.
