We all have to share the pain in these trying times. Golf Memberships are a discretionary income expense and the expectation for a member to pay full dues with hopes of a future credit should be reconsidered. The Couurse is currently offering 0% of a service or amenity so again this does not align with prioritizing a Members financial situation who also is impacted by the Covid-19 issues. Many Industries such as Mortgage, Auto, Technology and Utility Companies all have set a precedent with payment relief options for people impacted and Canyon Oaks should follow suit. In this environment most businesses are experiencing revenue decreases and the only counter is to minimize expenses which I'm sure you've done. The same rings true for a bulk of the membership that have to pick which expenses to shave and Golf is not topping anyone's list.
Therefore, to think you are entitled to maintain the same level of revenue/dues while rendering nothing in return is inconsiderate and insentive at best. You have a membership that loves the club, staff and course yet still want to feel appreciated and respected on the payment options provided while they too try to best manage their household finances thru this economic calamity. Please do better and rethink this as human beings and not as an ROI formula and I think your long term loyalty of membership will allow you to recoup profits down the road.

The letter you provided does not surprise me . I recall asking for my membership to be put on hold while I was deployed serving our nation and it was turned down. I left the club for a period of time after that. I should have notified the media. Your request disgusts me.

How can you possibly justify requiring us to pay for nothing! Defies logic on so many levels and is really contrary to the spirit of cooperation asked for in this crisis. Your greed is wholly un-American American Golf.

We agree that paying a "reasonable" portion of our monthly dues to do the necessary maintenance of the course and clubhouse makes sense. However, most members will NOT support this effort unless AGC agrees to provide the members the expenses and revenue information required to maintain the club's facilities.

AGC should be transparent about actual fixed costs and the cost to keep Dave Major and Terry (in maintainence) to fix equipment, and assist. I believe most members would not object to sustaining that. I would be appalled if AGC does not apply and qualify for the PPP. At that time they can reimburse members for there contributions.

You need to do what is fair. 80% for you and 0% for members. This formula doesn't work.

Please reconsider opening course even on a limited basis. After 1 pm on weekdays or even weekends. You may have a mass exodus otherwise.
