Cantley village needs much maintenance overall. It is unfair that residents pay taxes yet do not see improvements in their roads (these are in terrible condition!), sewer and park. Time to make some positive decisions to benefit residents, CBRM.

How unfortunate to be dealing with this after all the hard work done to obtain grants to improve this playground for the children,

For 32 plus years past and present residents have worked to develop this property which at once was a swamp are which CB County at the time and CBRM present continued to support this project. Not sure how this mess came to be but it is not right that this diligent group of today has to deal with this mess. This property was designated to be used for recreation, not sure how this mess came to be!

My boys all played soccer and baseball on this field. We need this beautiful park to be upgraded and continue for future generations!

Please let our children have a place in the community to enjoy with their family and friends. Active living is so important for their development and social skills. It would be such a loss of it is gone.

I lived in Can't let village from 1979 to 1995. My parents still live there. My children, when they were younger, could have benefitted from a great playground when they were visiting their grandparents. Let's hope future kids will be able to. Keep fighting.

I grew up in this great community and this park was a very big part of my childhood. It would be a shame to lose this space.

I hope the current owner sees how much the park means to the folks in Cantley Village and makes an effort to make this work for everyone!

Cantley Village Park is at the heart of our neighbourhood...upgrading it to become our municipality's first accessible park is a dream so close to a reality! The thought of our hardworking families losing this space altogether because one individual sees her/his net worth as more important than an entire community's identity is not okay!

The kids stand to lose the most if this land ownership issue is not resolved. Too much time and effort has gone into this project so let's continue and make it happen!
