Whereas Cannabis has been proven to have many positive medical benefits; and

Whereas Bermuda faces unprecedented budget deficits; and 

Whereas numerous Bermudians are criminalized for non-violent possession for personal use of cannabis; and

Whereas many countries are revising their cannabis laws; therefore

We the undersigned petition the Honorable House of Assembly to immediately decriminalize cannabis possession for personal use and examine the economic and social benefits of legalization and taxation of cannabis for the benefit of our local economy and tourism product.
