Dear Mr. Newsom,

California's election is coming up soon, November 2018. The Great State of California is electing its governor. You are a candidate for this position. The people of California deserve to know your position - clearly state - on the following issues which are at the foremost concerns in the voter's minds:

• Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) - do you advocate resilience against this agency? Cooperation? Creating a working relationship?
• Sanctuary Cities - are you for or against them? How should they handle various issues? Should cities decide for themselves? Or should it be a statewide issue?
• Border - do you believe that we should have an Open Border? A closed border? A border with federal or state controls?
• Employment - how should employers guide their business in regards to state vs.Federal law and the various guidelines? what liability will they have for deciding on a path between federal and state law?
• Mexico - as a prominent ally geographically juxtaposed to California, what is the future relationship that you see between California and Mexico? More allowances for citizen travel, driver's license issuance, etc., what do you envision?

One way or the other, the Voters in California deserve to know your answers and ideas on this crucial. So far, you have said and state very little in terms of a practical statement on the various aspects of Immigration.
