Unacceptable

This is absolutely horrendous. If cremotion violates laws and should not be done on weekends and public holidays, then so too should burials. Only fair.

Let’s respect each other’s culture.

Preventing weekend cremations at Avalon Crematorium is discrimination based on religious and cultural beliefs! I don't see a similar bylaw being passed which says burials cannot take place on weekends.

Pls cancel weekend cremations. If not they should stop weekend burials

Not practical for Lenasians to go so far as Brixton for funerals

This is total disrespect for our community. We have had uninterrupted services from the crematorium since inception.
