Cancellation of Weekend Cremations-Avalon Crematorium, Lenasia

I'm for using the crematorium on weekends

Govt should n must respect religion n cultures equally n cremotorium should be open on weekends

We as a community need this facilities it part of our culture to have the cremation ASAP

Instead of making bylaws that serves to create tension , why don't they create a law that states that any cremation or cemetery not maintained will result in the persons being fired . No one decides when thay want to die and this will result in mortuaries getting congested.

Why now this is done?

I do not agree with cancellation of cremations over the weekends.

Cremations should be done weekends and public holidays

In a democratic SA we must always respect all races and religions.

If one cannot cremate on a weekend then why are other burials allowed on weekends at Avalon. There should be fairness for all that want to use the Avalon cemetery and crematorium. Further where is the respect and tolerance for all South Africans.

Not acceptable again minorities being undun

Its against our reglious right to dispose of the deceased as soon as possible n reglious rights are carried as soon funeral is over n has to be done specific days, this way causes more traum for the family. It must be stoped .tnk u

We need this service 7 days a week.

Unconstitutional decision .must be reversed.

This government is crazy, there head needs to be examined.

Unacceptable and unreasonable

Absolutely ridiculous... as if people have a choice on which day to die. Obviously the living need to rest the dead. Else dead bodies, fraud, risk of insurance claiming will increase! Opening up new levels and risk of corruption just because people can’t be paid to do work ? Why can’t the dead rest ... it’s stressing out the living, an the cost of keeping dead bodies in mortuary’s.
