The pandemic has not only put a toll on the quality of our learning, but also our mental state. I believe it is fair to say that IB must take into consideration the immense stress and anxiety we are undertaking, and exams will only put greater pressure on students worldwide. Despite the IB omitting certain components in our exams, learning online has greatly hindered our academic progress which may result in a generally low performance overall. I sincerely hope that IB will consider the wellbeing of their 169,000 students around the world.

The playing field needs to be levelled. With A-levels and GCSE cancelled, IB should also cancel keeping in mind students apply to the UK for university admissions
