I am an overseas fan and was looking forward to watching the revival simultaneously being broadcasted (as the Israeli network "YES" has purchased the screening rights), so many fans out there, not only American fans want to watch the revival without being spoiled and footage leaking onto the web which is inevitable, we can't just sign off social media and the Internet for three whole months. Please reconsider the screening!

This is a terrible idea. NYCC should show a few scenes or an extended trailer, not the episode in its entirety. This means we will be stuck with three months of convoluted opinions and spoilers that will be impossible to avoid, not to mention bootleg versions showing up on questionable websites. This will no doubt cloud the perspectives and expectations of those who will not see the episode before the January premiere. By the time January 24th rolls around, almost everyone will know exactly what happens in the episode. Die hard Philes will watch the premiere, of course, but casual fans or potential new viewers might not if they already know everything that happens. It severely diminishes the anticipation and the excitement leading up to the special event series. It completely takes away that element of suspense, that edge of your seat feeling where you have no idea what's going to happen next, which is something The X-Files is known for.

As much as I love X Files and its crew, it'll be my yearning request to please not make the première public in these many esteemed gatherings! I'd be thoroughly disappointed and let down. Reasons doesnt need élaboration.

I don't care about fair/unfair, but I do care about spoilers, so-so reviews, low-quality versions leaking online, & lower ratings which may influence a series 11.
