Totally disgusted with the callous disrespect these women have for the well educated,highly skilled,multi-tasking,compassionate,empathetic,unselfish souls nurses are.we put up with SOME MUCH ABUSE from people who have NO IDEA what it is like to walk in our shoes. I challenge you women of "the view" to go to the e.r. on any given weekend and see first hand the atrocities that humans do to one another and then watch in awe with how PROFESSIONALS set into motion in saving lives.

I have been just a NURSE for 38 years over half of my life and I find your comments and your "VIEW" disgusting to all the nurses whom have worked dillegently to save you or someone you love. Whoopi Goldberg telling us to listen?!?! That's all we do is listen because no one hears us! We try to advocate for our patients, yet some people think they know the patient better! Families micromanage us, doctors don't believe (at times) us, administration certainly won't hear us when we say it isn't safe being this understaffed.

I can't believe the apology they attempted. I'm a third generation nurse, worn a uniform and carried a stethoscope around my neck for 27 years. They have no idea how we will rally and fight for our profession, our integrity, and our purpose.
