My mother taught me if I had nothing nice to say then say nothing at all. A lesson that valuable could stand to be learned by the mouths on The View.

I am a Registered Nurse of nearly 35 year's, and personally speaking this show "The View " should be canceled for degrading the profession that I Love and do everyday. I do not stand alone, I stand with millions !!!

Nurses are the backbone to healthcare and not ONE place in the United States can stay open without nurses... Only ones that have to be in a facility 24/7....

This show deserves to be cancelled. Life is hard enough, without adding uneducated opinions from these women who obviously think that they are above everyone else. They need to learn how to give a sincere apology as well. What they said about Miss Colorado and the nursing profession I take VERY personal. I have been an Emergency Room Nurse for 25 yrs, and I work short staffed, every holiday, most every weekend, mandatory overtime... Most nights I work, I get no lunch or 15 minute break, and I sure don't have time to sit on my butt and judge other people and their profession. The job I do is not for the faint of heart, & not just anyone can do it. I would like to see the women on the view step into and shadow a nurse in a large hospital for a full 12 hr shift. ( & please put Joy in the ER so she can see what a Frontline nurse does.) They eat only when & if the nurse does, and only has a bathroom break when the nurse does.Then let's get their View on the nursing profession! I will say this.. don't bother bringing a lunch, chances are you won't get to eat it and wear a diaper if you can't hold your urine 12+ hrs.

The View's views only hold any authority when they can withstand the test of educated accountability. Otherwise, their views fall in the same realm as the National Enquirer. And yes, I understand that enquiring minds may still want to know..., but educated & experienced minds are too busy focusing on what they are hearing, or not hearing, thru their stethoscopes, to give The View's views serious consideration.
Put in a less serious tone, and a more enjoyable one for my 5 teenagers at home, I refer to their more simplified explanation: "'Cause your lips are moving
