i think it's about time that as a medical professional that we get the respect and commendation that we all deserve and that people in a public position be held accountable for their words and actions

It's not just the nurse thing: they are just a bunch of talking heads talking over each other and saying stupid things: Except for Whoopie: she's the only intelligent one on there

I certainly never made a million dollars, being a Nurse. I knew I never would. I did it because It was a calling of the soul to help others all I could, putting them first before my aching knees, back & feet. I would do it all over, if I was physically able.

I'm a cna working towards my rn. And if any of these ladies think that being a nurse is so easy, please step up and take one of the many courses I have to take, to save their life.

As a nurse from Canada. I would like to say my colleagues, allied health and doctors are all disgusted by what was said and the lack of apology which blamed nurses for not listening properly. So listen to this: we don't want you on our television screens anymore!

no one needs this junk on television. We need more informative shows that show what everyone in this world does to better it. I'm sick of the drama.

i don't think they should have anymore public attention for their careless and heartless remarks against the best profession in the world. They have undermined the most respected profession & mocked us for laughs like bullies.

I am a nurse! I wear MY scrubs and My stethoscope and use them every time I work. I pride myself on treating my patients with respect, dignity, and being their voice! The view needs to think before they speak, and the apology was degrading.

Nurses deserve respect for the job that we do. People need to be informed and educated on what a nurse really does. We are not portrayed correctly on t.v. We do not hangout and flirt with doctors all day. We are much mor than the degrading "sexy nurse costume" worn on Halloween. If it were that easy of a career, everyone would do it!! We do not get paid enough for what it is that we actually do. Why do we do it?? Because when a patient touches your hand and thanks you with a smile, a family member hugs you, you hold the hand of someone who is dying and promise them you will not leave them because nobody should die alone, your former patients visit you to say "hi" and "thank you" and also bring you lunch because they know you don't have time to go to the cafeteria or you see a former patient at the store and they hug you and tell you that they are going to college to be a nurse because the care you gave them inspired them to do the same.. That's my REAL paycheck. I THINK THE LADIES OF THE VIEW SHOULD SHADOW A NURSE TO SEE WHAT IT IS WE REALLY DO. They haven't cried their eyes out on the drive home after a horrible days work because they've replayed every event over and over thinking, "did I miss something", "could I have done something different." NURSES ARE AWESOME!!

i am not a nurse, but I could not do my job without nurses, which are pivotal members of a healthcare team. Talk show hosts are dispensable and should be accountable for what they blabber about all day long (without paying attention). Nurses, on the other hand, are indispensable, and provide a service to society that no talk show "host" can match. Cancel these annoying and disrespectful women from the air. Daytime TV will be better off on the long run.
