This could have all been ended with a simple apology. Instead, The View chose to blame the nurses for not listening. I'm done with this show.

As a nurse of almost 40 years I was offended by the Views views and even more offended by the "apology"... Listen to us, we will not watch your show or support your sponsors. With a little creativity, humor can be delivered without degrading a person or group of people!!

The view should be taken off the air. For those ladies to sit and make judgements on and entire profession and to attempt to degrade them for that is pure ignorance. While the ladies of the view are home with their families on holidays and at night, nurses are not. They are working taking care of other people's family members. Trying to save their lives or being supportive if there is nothing else that can be done exept to be there. It takes a special person to be a nurse , to be willing to sacrifice time with their family to care for others. And just for clarification it is not a Dr's stethoscope, it belongs to the nurse who initially determined that a problem existed and notified the Dr.
