Not only did you offend every nurse but their mothers too. No one "misconstrued" or misunderstood anything. So don't insult the nurses or the viewing audience with that BS. Falling all over yourselves with your proclaimed love and respect for the nurses now is only embarrassing. You insulted not only the memory and profession of my mother, but my daughter and my granddaughter who are excellent nurses. Shame on you. Shame on each and every one of you sitting behind that desk on the View.

I am offended by your flippant comments and your obvious ignorance about what nurses do. Your " apology" isn't an apology but came across as arrogant and condescending. You should be ashamed of yourselves. But, see, the thing about nurses is that when you need us we will be there. We will treat you with dignity and respect in spite of your attitude and disparaging comments. Because that's what nurses do.
As a nurse for 30 years, I have helped save many lives- how many have you saved? I've delivered babies, held the hand of the dying, comforted a grieving mother,calmed a terrified child and that's just to name a few. I guarantee you none of your accomplishments come close. Now multiply that by the millions of nurses and all the healthcare workers in the US and measure that up to what you do. Doesn't even compare. #proudtobeanurse #greatestprofession

No one appreciates their view about nurses. These women haven't even apologied, they insulted us further. I cannot stand this show. The only person who has a bit of class is Barbara . The rest are awful, I am not only boycotting this show, I will not watch the network either.

Seems the show is becoming more negative about our country in general and the people in it. I grew up in a time when we were proud to of our nation. It tears at me that such public figures shred it to pieces.

Remove the trash off of the TV!
Go back to shows that are happy fun ...show good morals....and not people who are going to sit and insult hard working nurses!! I am not only a nurse i tour for causes....as a singer/songwriter.... I am inclined to write a song about this but there are no words that come to mind to describe how Whoopie and the rest of those ignorant folks spoke on TV! Get them off!!!!!
