How can these women disrespect one profession while they sit in there comfortable chairs and talk about garbage. While the very people you just disrespected are trying to hold it together after giving cpr to a child while the parents watch. They get food catered to them. Nurses work 12 hours a day and barley have time to pee let alone sit down and eat. Nurses take patients screaming at them calling them names hitting them while they get millions of dollars sitting in a chair. How dare you say it's a costume and there just a nurse. The nurse is the first and last person they see in there visit the dr pops in maybe once. So if you think it's so easy stop getting pampered and get off your chair and come work 12 hours in a level one trauma room. And look at your costume when you leave it's full of sweat, blood, vomit, fecal matter and tears from you and patients and there families. You wouldn't last a whole shift as a nurse. Anyone can do your go and a day time talk show host. Don't think you can't be replaced.

As a RN for almost 30 years I have never been so insulted. ABC as a company needs to comment on their employees lack of respect and ignorance. I will Never watch the View again. Hopefully I don't have to boycott ABC in its entirety as well.

I'm an Emergency Medical Technician who is standing with the nurses. "The View" has become a podium for a bunch of angry whiners, and nothing more.
It's now become "The Spew " with all its vitriol. Should have been cancelled years ago!

The Views comments regarding nurses shows how ignorant they are...have none of them EVER been hospitalized? Just who do they think cares for the I'll all over the world? The stethoscope comment was especially stupid! Take them off the air! I will not watch such a show again

I am an active Registered Nurse have been since 1973 . I take personal offense to the comments made on The View in regards to Dr's stethoscope and "costume" I have not and will not watch the show in the future . I'm a big fan of DWTS Castle and Modern Family and The ABC News with David Muir. I just might not watch anything on ABC again.....Please cancel The View... I'll think about watching ABC and some of my favorite shows again.

The view has insulted a huge community of talented, caring, and giving people. Nurses will not take th BS handed out by the so called program called the View. The so called apology was terrible and even more insulting. and insincere. Do not tell us to learn to listen! We listen for a living.

There are not words enough to describe how proud I am to have spent my career as a Nurse. I had the privilege to stand with many exceptional Nurses along the way! They made and still make a difference every day!
