Regardless of your personal opinion, to which you are entitled if you are a public figure you should know how to address your audience or get out of the lime light. I've never had great respect for some of the catty ladies but they definitely crossed the line!

I'm am a nurse... I love my profession. I love taking care of people. That is a talent. Not everyone can be anurse. A nurse is a friend, and educator. We are our patients advocate. We work long hours with no lunch breaks ,and most days we don't even get to the bathroom . We don't complain that we our bladder is ready to explode while your yelling at me because you haven't seen the doctor yet , or that it took me a few extra minutes to answer your bell because I was in a room with another patient who was dying. I can walk from a dying man's room and walk into your room with a smile on my face , because I cant show my emotions , I need to be strong so thay my patient trusts me and knows that I will tasket care of them. Why because I am a nurse.

It's just plain ignorance. ...how dare those ladies judge Miss Colorado and degrade nurses. ...Nurses are the go between the patients and the doctors. ...

1. Shouldn't have happened in the first place.
2. Your apology should have been sincere and heartfelt.
3. Should not have insulted us further by saying we need to listen.
We listened, and we heard.

I am a proud RN and soon to be Family Nurse Practitioner and am disgusted by the comments made on The View and disrespect to our profession.
