Governor DeSantis, the undersigned respectfully demand the cancellation of your Emergency Executive Order mandating extraordinary social behavior since the beginning of the COVID-19 Pandemic.
- We have dutifully complied for 6 months, but there are no verifiable data to support the continuance of this economically crushing, psychologically damaging, edict for this period of time, or even longer.
- It is time to return our freedom to decide for ourselves, not the State bureaucracy, as to the level of exposure we are each willing to risk in life!
- There will never be a zero risk of contracting COVID-19, but there is never a zero risk of any other disease or virus, so these mandates need to be removed immediately!
- We must rid our minds of perceived fear to get back to living normal lives and cancelling this Order will create a start in that direction.
- Our state needs to fearlessly set the example for the other 49!

This mask mandate has become a nightmare for many, not just to elderly that have Respiratory issues , but to our children , which many are having headaches and focus issues due to the lack of oxygen and breathing their own Co2. We have the flu season several times a year and never once has the state of Florida been mandated to wear the masks ! Stop this now as the silent majority are over it ! I have friends in the hospitality industry who have passed out when working with masks on . It’s time to drop the masks and let us get back to living a normal Life.
