I applaud the efforts of Occupy Wall St. However this petition, though I signed it, still goes cap-in-hand to the "masters". First they mismanage the administration, then they get off scott free when everyone pays for their mistakes. Here is what I would like the Water Brigade to do - get the other rate payers in the ares to stop paying for their water. The demand should be that the debt be wiped free. The banks are always up to their shenanigans and we should get up off our knees and embarrass the hell out of them by joining everyone together. The rest of us in the US should donate to have water brought in for the entire resident population of Detroit if the city managers don't see it the right way. The most important thing is we must never go cap-in-hand and ask them to do something. We demand. They work for us!
