I want to make this commend, food for though. There are lots of Single parents that have lost love ones during the Pandemic, and are still as our New Mayor is aware of the struggle to pay for child care. Just, imagine to have to pay for childcare in order for a parent to attend an IFSP meeting, or to struggle with one or more children on the train, and to add more difficult to a family that may be going through hardship the worst thing that can happen is that the child's parents may even lose a day of pay. however we may never know this as the parent may keep it to her or himself. Let think about this for a minute?. Madeline Martinez, OSC/CDRF

Please continue remote meetings. Attendance rates are higher and attendees have been able to manager more meetings at a time.

Keeping IFSP meetings remote helps ensure that parents participate as they don't have to leave their homes. It also makes better use of our time should parents cancel. Also, it helps keep the spread of covid 19, and any other disease under control.

Considering that IFSP meetings are to be done at a place and time convenient for the family, the idea of going back to in person meetings goes against this very policy. Meetings have been more productive via phone and the cancellation rate has been extremely low. Before Covid i would waste over two hours going to EI, waiting for a parent to arrive in which they would not and the meeting would have to be rescheduled. Recently, due to eiod shortages i have gotten calls at 8:30-8:45 cancelling my 9 am meetings due to the eiod calling out. By that time, i would have had to have been at the ei office if the meeting was in person. The schedulers for the ifsp’s do not take into account the SC’s time. In the past they would schedule a 9 am and 3:30 meeting on the same day and that would mean hours of commuting back and forth to the ei office and waste of gas and time. There has not been one problem with having telephone conferences in the two and a half years that we have done them.

Please keep IFSP meetings via telephone. It has created a safe and efficient work space for SC's.

Remote meetings need to be active. We are still in COVID situation. I live with my older parents and my babies. I can not put my parents life in risk

Remote EI meetings need to remain active one reason being the spread of covid will be minimal as parties will not know if they were exposed by families who will not disclose their status. Secondly the amount of time is take to commute from one place to another will decrease the productivity of the coordinator as the commute from the regional office can be up to 2hrs depending on location.

The IFSP meetings need to to stay remote because Covid cases and monkeypox cases are on the rise. And the IFSP rooms have no ventilation, which makes it very dangerous for everyone. Please do the right and keep meetings remote.

I worked as an SC and the travel time plus finding parking at the regional office was a problem. Secondly, parents find it challenging to communicate to the regional office which caused many no-shows or cancellations.

COVID-19 is on the rise with new more potent strands on the up in coming. Parents will not show up in-person to meetings which will be a wasted day for SCs and evaluation reps. The unnecessary exposures to COVID-19 for those with compromised immune systems like myself. Its unnecessary to increase health hazards to the EI team when meetings can be done efficiently via phone.
