This has nothing to do with empowering black people actually is the opposite it's a history theft. You need to respect nation's civilizations and history

Portraying Cleopatra as Black shows complete ignorance of the geography of Egypt, the origins and history of its people and the Ptolemaic Dynasty, to which she belonged. The Black people of Egypt are Nubians, who mostly lived in modern-day Sudan, a region that stopped being part of the Kingdom of Egypt when it was conquered by Alexander the Great and ruled afterwards by Ptolemy, founder of the Ptolemaic dynasty. History cannot be rewritten based on loose academic hypotheses in order to serve Hollywood's tokenism.

This is an egregious historical fabrication and theft of the heritage of the Egyptian and Greek people

There are historical proofs about Cleopatra having Greek origin. There are also depictions of her (ancient figureheads), and all these proofs are way far from Cleopatra being a black lady.
Unless you allow me to be Shaka Zulu in a documentary. White and lady, WOKE people should love it, right?

Our history is written in stone. Our identity is not up tor debate or “reparations handouts” or whatever is going on over there
We are not black. We are not white. We are 100 million Egyptians that take our heritage VERY seriously. Drop this disgusting falsification.

Plenty of African queens to choose from. No need to steal the Greek one.
