Please cancel the midterms because if we miss any more days of school this week we will miss the review so some people might not do so well.

I do not find the midterm helpful. It gives a little more unneeded stress. Isn't a final worth enough?

I agree mostly because grades play a tremendous role in deciding your future starting from the moment you apply to a club, college, or job that looks to see how well you did/ are doing in school. And I personally feel that I am extremely unprepared to do midterms next week in all of my classes (4 out of 7 of which, have not even begun midterm review). Therefore I have little to no idea what to expect from a lot of my teachers and there are only two classes left of each. So I believe the midterm will, in fact bring my grade down in more than one class (especially due to the fact that te midterm exam is weighed extremely heavy and can take you down a complete letter grade with no more time in the quarter to bring it up!

I think the decision to cancel midterms is the right choice. Since winter break, we've had 4 days canceled due to weather conditions. It may not seem like a lot, but teachers are not getting the necessary material teached in order for their students to achieve their optimal grades.

I believe midterms should be canceled because there hasn't been enough time to cover all the information. Also, midterms cause an unnecessary stress for students. The only "reward" we get for taking them is a grade that usually drags our semester grades down. LCPS, cancel midterms.
