My teachers have been trying to catch us up on work and none of them have had time to go over midterm review! How are students expected to pass midterms if they don't know what material will be covered on the exam?

We've missed to much class time for review and to learn the last subject before the midterms.

a lot of the days of school have been canceled and that's not fair because the teacjers haven't been able to prepare us for midterms and which is not fair to us because since we're not prepared we will not get a good grade.

we have missed the better half of this quarter to weather conditions, there is no way that our test score are going to be anything more than terrible

Midterms really should be cancelled. I realize that they are a good exam to evaluate where you are on a subject in the middle of the year, but if we have any more snow days this week we won't be prepared and we'll fail! And colleges can see these scores!

This is very true! How are students supposed to be ready for a test they have not covered correct material for?

I do not want my grades to go down because of not enough time to learn the material

It makes sense to make midterms optional for those who need it because we have missed so much review

Please consider canceling midterms for those of us that have been kept out of class for weather related reasons, enough that it has been difficult for me and my fellow classmates to keep up with our school work and grades. Because of the massive effect that the midterms have on our grades, it would be best if they were optional or cancelled all together. Although we enjoy the delays and days off of school, it truly is effecting our ability to focus on studying and preparing for the soon upcoming midterms. We hope that you at least consider making an effort to help those of us students that the midterms will heavily impact in a negative way. In hopes that you consider, we thank you deeply.

I think mid-terms are not an affective way of testing how much we know because, some departments test us harder than other departments.
