Students of Louisiana State University are ecstatic about the season that Tiger Football is having. Especially given that the National Championship is being held in New Orleans, many plan on being in and around the Mercedes Benz Superdome on January 13th to cheer them on. However, that is also the scheduled first day of class. Given that many students hold tickets to the game and have plans to attend, it makes no sense to force them to work around their busy class schedules. Further, many students will likely skip classes that day, and be punished for it by their respective professors. It makes no sense to punish LSU students for supporting our beloved Tiger Football program.
