It is disgraceful that Councils are pushing the agenda of grooming our children and have the arrogance to think they know better than parents. Parents don’t want drag shows or reading of niche fringe extreme far left agendas shoved down parents and kids throats. Keep it simple Council, story time is for innocent minds where parents don’t want their kids indoctrinated and radicalised, kid appropriate books and story time is what we want. Keep the drag shows & drag story times for adults who are interested, not kids. Looks like councils have lost all common sense. Stick to your lane Council and focus on providing the services you’re being paid by rate payers. How about freezing rate rises given the high cost of living.

Let children enjoy the innocence of childhood without unnecessarily exposing them to adult concepts before they can understand them. This is not about being against drag queens or the LGBTI community but it’s about allowing children to be children. There is plenty of time for parents to teach them about inclusivity and acceptance as they get older.

I love taking my kids to the library. It was a safe space. Obviously times have changed and not for the better. Just looking down the streets shows a different world but not a better one.
