Cancel Black Bike Week / Urban Weekend in Myrtle Beach, SC

Myrtle beach is a beautiful area and it's sad that people come in and rip it apart a few days and leave. The local people should have a say if this goes on or not .

I live here and hate both bike weeks,i think its a disgrace to let people on motorcycles take over an area no mater what the skin color .most locals despise it.

I love how people are dogging black bike week like Harley Week aka White Bike Week don't have violence, drugs theft,and drunks. I've been to both events yearly and both events pack the jailhouse.

I just purchased an ocean Blvd. Condo. I had to sign a disclosure "warning" me of the dangers of Black Bike Week. The page following the led paint disclosure! I moved here from Arizona. I am shocked at how lawless this place is. I visited here once 15 years ago and now I live here and there is a good reason it's now on the list of top ten trashiest beaches in America! I see this as an example of what the cities elected officials must be like. Remember the movie Back to the Future 2? Yep.... All the bike weeks need to come to an end. They are all a bit on the trashy side and they are so disrespectful with the noise. As well as the classic car weeks. Them too! We need to Just go ahead and cancel them all, have the riots and boycotts and get it over with. When the dust settles the word will get out and more respectable, Richer, quieter people will begin to flock here. Create different events to replace the loud bikes. AgaIn, where the heck are the hundreds of police officers we need to control these noisy people? By the way, BBW is simply racist. Anytime you separate races for any reason, it's racist.

Visited not knowing it was going on with family..it was awful...noise..saw a fatal accident..driving was treacherous..miserable experience!

This ruins a great holiday weekend at myrtle beach every year. The major majority of people and businesses do not want this going on. Get rid of it now..................... ..

Please cancel it too much trouble

If you South Carolinians cared ANYTHING about your state you would've canceled this event years ago. I'm sorry but there is NOTHING good coming out of an event with a rowdy bunch of blacks drinking booze, smoking dope and getting raunchy around scantily clad women. Oh, and I'm black!!!

Why do they have to have their own week. So the early one is white bike week they can trash a nice area and that's OK.

I hope this event will be stopped. So much crime happens and people do not know how to respect anything much less themselves!
