I am strongly against the fact that my daughter would have to sit in a class for exams she could take online as the vast majority of Belgian students.
But having her taking risks by being on a train or metro is truly unacceptable.

I understand the university if working hard to organize this exam session in a complicated time. But they're asking to base our future/careers based on no information or absolutely vague information. Our parents are out of work, students are out of work. We have to study in noisy environments, no calm libraries are available with non-lagging internet. Some of us have one PC for the whole family with relatives having to work through webcam with their colleagues. We risk our lives every time we go shopping for necessities. Finances are an everyday concern. Health & safety is an everyday concern. Stress levels are through the roof. Hundreds of people are dying every day to a disease that governments have called "the worst crisis since WW2". We do not have any information on how online exams will be. Written exams are decades old, online are not. Could we have a mock week to test out the system? Two members of my family are immune sensitive. And because i am Belgian i have to risk their lives to pass an exam? What kind of conditions is this to succeed? The list can go on and on. These are difficult times, and we need to find a better compromise than the one in place. Belgian students have the right to be tested in the same health & safety conditions as students abroad. It is not in the university's advantage to have many failing students either, otherwise this creates an unbalance for years to come. It is in everyone's advantage to have access to more information. I need to study, i will stop here. Have a nice day.

I want faireness. People abroad shouldn't have the ability to take their exams online while I have to make mine in school. Everyone should make them online then.

this is pretty unfair, especially considering that almost all other Belgium universities also stick to online exams; it is the only reasonable thing to do in these times.

Most of our exams can be completed online. The only exception to this could be Math. Every MCQ, open question, and essay-based question should absolutely be feasibly offered online.

Not only does having students take exams on campus put us at risk, it also puts us in an extremely stressful situation since we don't know if somebody in the room might have it or not. How are we supposed to focus on our exams when u might possibly be in the room with a COVID-19 carrier that isn't aware of it? Furthermore a lot of us take public transport to get to uni, so it's highly irresponsible to organize physical exams without taking all of these risks into account. Not only that, but for some of us, this quarantine has taken a toll on our mental health and we haven't been able to follow lessons properly because of it. We are currently living in a P-A-N-D-E-M-I-C, i don't know if KUL realizes how hard it has hit some of its students.

There are significant concerns when it comes to the risks involved in having to take on-campus exams during this crisis. Those risks being both mental and physical. Mental wherein, the anxiety, the uncertainty, it’s added stress that could inhibit our motivation in pursuing present and future goals. I believe the physical risks are obvious. There is also having to commute by public transportations to get to campus, and possibly elsewhere as you have mentioned (I have to commute for 2:30h to get to campus, and unfortunately some people are not prudent in public spaces.). As an international student and as a student period, there is much more going on in our lives during this crisis, having to worry about family abroad, their health, our health and ... our future. Please understand that the added pressure is not necessary.

I don’t believe it’s fair to make the students staying in Belgium attend exams on campus. By doing so, you are putting their life’s and safety’s in danger.
