I'm starting this petition to rectify a huge error that local cable companies are making across Canada, by not having RDS sports available to Canadians that are west of Kingston, Ontario. For those of you that do not know, RDS is a french sports channel and is the sister station of TSN. RDS televises all Montreal Canadiens hockey games throughout the season, and is the only station to do so. To make this even more frustrating is the fact I can subscribe to a french channel package (known as tele-franco 1) but not the other french channel package (known as tele-franco 2) that contains the RDS channel. As a Canadiens fan not in Quebec this is very frustrating. I live 15 minutes away from the largest airforce base in Canada, with a large french community, and they all feel the same way. Isn't this country supposed to be bilingual anymore I was informed that with enough demand, they would make the channel available (this is where you come in. )Please sign this petition to change the narrow minded thinking of cable companies throughout Canada.
