Since 2004, the US drone attacks in Pakistan have killed approximately 2944 people, of whom between 474-881were civilians, including 176 children.
Despite protests from the Pakistani government since 2009, the attacks have not only continued but also increased in frequency. The Pakistani people are living in constant fear as the drones hover overhead day and night, threatening to strike at any time.
This infringement on the sovereignty of Pakistan is illegal and the deaths of civilians violates human rights laws and norms.
Canadians have a strong history of being at the forefront of international human rights and it is our duty to continue this tradition, opposing human rights violations when they are committed.
Please join the campaign to have our opposition to the drone strikes heard at the UN General Assembly on Wednesday, November 14th.

This is completely inhuman. Those poor kids are terrified out of their minds every single day. We need to stop this nightmare now.
