Because of numerous concerns regarding the 2016 election of Donald Trump as the 45th President of the United States of America such as, but not limited to: possible Russian involvement in democratic process, the alleged affiliation of some of his cabinet membres to the alt-right and extreme right movement, and the public sexist, racist, antisemite, Islamophobic and homophobic comments of Mr. Trump during his campaign; As concerned citizens, we urge Prime Minister Justin Trudeau to stand against any political pressure of any foreign government that would interfere/ undermine/ demise the Canadian Constitution of Rights and Freedom for all its citizens regardless of their gender, religion, country of birth, genotype, physiotype, economic background and sexual orientation.
