For many years we have watched the American Tabloid Style News Reporting from the US, it's now here and filtered over into Canada and has changed & contaminated Canadian TV News and Radio Reporting and Digital Media on all levels!
Seeing American stories first lead over Canadian content on a regular day, then misquoting and lack of fact checking, the printing of misleading and false information, now during COVID 19 the worst pandemic of our lifetime we have systematically watched how the daily attacking of our Prime Minister and Team Canada with undertones directly from the far right wing political realm has many journalists crossing boundaries on journalistic guidelines in area of ethical, accuracy from both the news perspective, radio and print and digital platforms undermining the truth, our democracy and our right to have fair and accurate information provided to us! This has never been more critical than now!
This petition is calling on all Corporations of media, their subsidiaries and their governing bodies to assist in the ending this media nightmare and restore truth, accuracy and the ending of political interference and corporate dollars thrown at media to conduct political attacks to promote their ideology in the attempts to destroy credibility of other parties and end this injustice once and for all through media in Canada!

Tired of the lies and innuendo. Tired of watching opinion pieces, and watching one sided reporting. I want the news! Clear, unbiased, factual. Period.
I have complained and nothing is being done. Canadian media is nothing but tabloid journalism now. The media wants to make the story instead of reporting it.
Americans need to butt out of Canada's domestic affairs. Stop trying to control us by buying our media
Please start proper reporting instead of slanting and misleading readers and viewers
Irresponsible trashy journalism...FOX North trash! Not in Canada.
