People For The Ethical Treatment Of Animals(PETA) should now be charged for "Conveying False Information"- which is a violation of The Criminal Code Of Canada. Peta continues to distribute false information about the procedures of hunting seals that occur at the Canadian Seal Hunt. The Government Of Canada has shown PETA modern videos of the hunt and stopped the hunt of white coats, yet PETA continues to print posters/videos showing white coat seals being hunted when this is not true. I encourage PETA to stop the lies before this does turn into a legal matter. If convicted for conveying false information, PETA MEMBERS can face up to TWO (2) YEARS in prison. This type of charge is an indictable offence and you will have a criminal record in which you will have to wait 2 to 5 years after time served for a pardon to be granted by the Parole Board of Canada.
