As a Canadian student struggling to find a summer job, finding out about this new program appalled me. The Canadian government has started a program called the "International Experience Canada", where students from countries around the world are given work permits for summer jobs in Canada, which means they are given positions that Canadian students could have had. As the article from the Huffington Post states (see first link below), this program makes "dreams come true" for foreign students. But I say, what about our dreams? I'm sure many students will agree that it has been a nightmare trying to find a summer job, and our government has clearly added to this struggle. Please read these articles and sign this petition if you agree that this program is outrageous and unfair to Canadian students. If we get enough signatures, then maybe we can make a difference together and stop this program in the future! #DudeWheresMyJob
