We need to recognize our first responders who have made many sacrifices as well as contributions in their service to Canada. This is the right thing to do.

I have served our military and have been a first responder for 31 years
Total of both is 37 years
1967 brought the centennial medal and 92 the 125 medal
It is deplorable to direspect people who serve this country for political reasons

Without the service and sacrifice of all our servicemen/servicewomen we would not have the beautiful and peaceful country we have. Honour all our heroes.

150th Medal is a no brainer. Only a dead none compationate government would ignore this mile stone

Canada has so few true Canadian medals in the national honour system. To not have a Canada 150 medal is a shame on the country, the politicians who don't support it and an insult to military, police and EMS who politicians spit on by their non-support.
Do the military have to rely on NATO and the UN to show our pride.
The Royal Cdn Legion has struck their own 150 medal.

It is foolish, in my view, to not produce a 150th medal to commemorate the service to Canada by members of this current generation. It's a low cost acknowledgement of who have served and continue to serve in uniform and otherwise.

As a serving member and a citizen of Canada by choice, I feel it would be an insult not to honor those who serve and make this country great

I think that celebrating the 150 anniversary of Canada is something that every Canadian should take pride in and be apart of. We have had medals in prior years to commemorate something so sacred so why should this year be any different? Let's help celebrate not only our brave men and women who serve in the Canadian Forces, myself included, but every Canadian apart of this great land and make this possible.

We should honour all whom have served this great nation. Even a small token of appreciation such as medal would go a long in showing our gratitude for those men and women who serve. Thank You for your Service
