This is one of the finest racing and training facilities in the north east and it attracts car, kart, and motorcycle enthusiasts from all over New England. Canaan is a small town with finite opportunities to attract tourists and investments so a facility like the Canaan Motor Speedway is essential to keeping people coming to the town. I was an avid racer with the New Hampshire Karting Association for many years and raced there many weekends and each time I purchased gasoline, coffee, ice, meals, and other items at the local stores. The track is beautiful and well managed. I urge the local and state leadership to help repair this facility and position it for many more years of exciting events.

This track is very important to the town and the state bringing people from many miles to spend quality, stress free time in a small town. I spend time and money in a town I would otherwise likely not visit. Investing in rebuilding this track will be economically beneficial to the town and the state.

Please keep this track open. I would rather spend my discretionary dollars here...between gas and restaurants...$200 a visit. I buy my gas in town when I get there and eat at the local restaurants.

The entire Wood family has been a major asset to the racing community for many years. The Governor and Town Administrator should do what's morally right and fix the problem regarding the track and surrounding area's.

This track is one of the awesome tracks around that area that’s where I learned how to race and ride and where I plan on bringing my son in a few years to ride as well we need to keep it open
