The case for Campbeltown is already well evidenced. It is an immense opportunity for an area which struggles against major conurbations/cities which tend by their size and influence to draw everything in to themselves. It is only right that opportunity is geographically shared fairly and equally wherever and whenever reasonable and possible. Campbeltown ticks all the boxes.

A spaceport would attract industry, commerce, and tourists, with all the support facilities this would require. It would be a tremendous boost for Argyll.

The low population density combined with the ease of reaching major cities makes Campbeltown the ideal choice for the UK's Spaceport

Campbeltown Airport is the best choice because of its existing infrastructure and would be a boost for the area's economy.

This is the single most poweful opportunity for the transformation of the entire Argyll economy,
The Machrihanish Airbase Community Company's case for selection - and objectively this is the best and most future-proofed site - must be as powerful as this opportunity - and that case must be heard.

Campbeltown Airport is clearly the best option for the location of the Space-port, geographically and in terms of the existing site infrastructure. I fully support calls for this to be the preferred location of the site.

Campbeltown is a very depressed area with few employment opportunities and the attendant social problems. It desperately needs a project such as this.
