A good case for this and it would go a long way to repairing the damage done to Kintyre when RAF Machrihanish closed. The infrastructure and regional development cases both make sense.

As the resources required are already in place there seems no point spending lots of money to upgrade other airports when one already exists.

The economy in this small town is in need of a new venture and this would be an ideal site as it is fairly remota but also central and accessable.Please put Campbeltown back in the job market the place went into decline when the Nato base closed down and recovery has been an uphill struggle since.
